Maintenance on Evinrude, Johnson, and OMC stern drives is getting challenging as time goes by.
You can go on a scavenger hunt and find some of those from other dealers that have agreed to help.
You should consider an extra warning to Evinrude service customers.
WARNING: Certain Evinrude parts are not available.
You might choose to collect a disassembly fee for Evinrude service jobs in case the job cannot be completed.
This will send a message, loud and clear, to your customer that some Evinrude parts are not available.
Extra labor might be needed to complete an Evinrude service job because of the parts situation.
This is a real warning to you the dealer: Do not get stuck with an Evinrude that cannot be repaired.
As much as you might love Evinrude, you cannot fix an engine if you cannot get the right parts.
The 2026 Evinrude monthly price file subscription is $700. This will start in January 2026 and end in December 2026. The button below is hosted by PayPal. It will allow you to pay with a credit card if you would rather not use your PayPal account. You might see "Checkout as guest" or "Pay with credit or debit card" as an option on the bottom of one of the PayPal screens. There IS a way to just use your card. You do not have to use PayPal. If you use the "Buy Now" button and pre-pay, your phone call to Huggins will be alot simpler. Huggins no longer needs to know your credit or debit card numbers. The credit card industry would prefer if you entered your card number directly into the payment screen like we have setup for you. If you follow the "Return to merchant" link after payment, you can get the new password online.
There are two different locations to download these OMC/Evinrude/Johnson updates:

It does not matter which server you download from. One is in Oklahoma, one is in North Carolina. If one server is unavailable, just use the other one.
You will need the 2026 Evinrude password to extract these files, the password is on your 2026 invoice.
