The 2024 Suzuki monthly price file subscription is $600. This will start in January 2024 and end in December 2024. The button below is hosted by PayPal. It will allow you to pay with a credit card if you would rather not use your PayPal account. You might see "Checkout as guest" or "Pay with credit or debit card" as an option on the bottom of one of the PayPal screens. There IS a way to just use your card. Huggins no longer needs to know your credit or debit card numbers. The credit card industry would prefer if you entered your card number directly into the payment screen like we have setup for you. You do not have to use PayPal. If you use the "Buy Now" button and pre-pay, your phone call to Huggins will be alot simpler. In fact, you will not even need to call Huggins at all. If you follow the screens and do the payment online, after payment you will be given an option to "Return to merchant" and this will give you the password online.

QUESTION: How should a dealer react to the compound price increases in the marine industry in recent years?
ANSWER: Be sure you are selling the parts at their current retail price. Reprice merchandise that has a price on it in your showroom or ship's store. You cannot afford to sell at the old retail and then re-buy at the new cost. It is not only marine parts that have increased, it is almost everything. COVID required that companies buy from higher priced sources just to meet the demand. Prices had to go up because the cost to the companies was higher. This would be a good time to evaluate your shop labor rate also.
If your shop labor rate was $100 per hour in 2019.
It should have gone to $105 per hour in 2020.
It should have gone to $115 per hour in 2021.
It should have gone to $125 per hour in 2022.
It should have gone to $135 per hour in 2023.
It should go to $140 per hour in 2024.
(Bureau of Labor Statistics, Civilian workers, Installation, maintenance, and repair)
This depends on your local economy also. In smaller cities, your rates might be under these. In larger cities, your rates might be over these. But the ratio should still be true.
Your 2023 shop labor rate should have been be 8 to 10 percent higher than your 2022 shop labor rate.
Your 2024 shop labor rate should be about 5 percent higher than your 2023 shop labor rate.
Do not jeopardize your business by trying to save your customers too much money. Your customers want you to be around year after year to serve them.
